Not only did it win best short action film award at the recent Asians on film awards in California USA but it has also just won best short foreign film at Portugals Quinta Praia film festival. In addition to this, it was awarded the audience award ath the Portugals Quinta Praia film festival!! New photos of 'The Puppeteer', filmed on Hove Beach have been added to the Charlie Carter Gallery. Not only has Charlie's recently appeared in the short film, Less is More recently, but he also composed two of the songs, featured in the film. Chosen for the soundtrack were Charlie's songs, 'Less is More' and 'I don't know'. In the film, Charlie plays 'Busker Joe'. The Eye for Eye media production was directed by David Kline. Charlie recently played the part of George Jones in the short film, 'If you're not doing anything wrong', directed by David Kline for Eye for an Eye Media. Charlie has just finished playing Lou in 'A Moment of Silence', in which he plays Lou. A Moment of Silence opened at the Etcetera theatre on the 19th of October 2010 for just 6 performances! Photos to follow... Charlie plays the lead role of 'Ray Caulder' in a James Mclur play, 'Lone Star' which is being shown at the 'Cellar Theatre' for Madison Theatre company, directed by Rob Watt. Charlie has just completed a Stills/Photographic item for Aviva insurance in which he played the part of 'Husband/decorator, for 'Aviva', directed by Gary Salter Charlie has just finished playing the part of Christopher Boyd in short film 'Film No4' and has just started rehearsals for a James Mclure play 'Lone star' playing lead character 'Ray Caulder'. Charlie has completed filming of the short film 'Green Shoots', by Swearbox Productions, directed by Fran White, in which he plays the part of 'Lee' A very busy Charlie Carter has also just been offered the lead in a new short film being produced by the same company as his recently completed short film, 'Snared'. The film is to be titled 'Black Economy' and Charlie will be playing the part of 'Mickey'. Filming starts in August. Check back soon for more details of this new and exciting role....... Charlie is excited to have just finished the filming of an episode of the new BBC1 drama series 'Fashion' in which he plays a Paparazzi photographer.
